CHOPSTICK

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT -  A performance board wrapped under an alternative skin.

 

It all started with an old, busted board – broken nose, beaten up, but still an absolute weapon for learning new tricks. We took that raw, rugged energy, grabbed a fresh Ocean Style blank, chopped 2-3 inches off the nose, and boom – the CHOPSTICK was born.

 

Normally, shorter boards give you quick turns but sacrifice drive on bigger, drawn-out carves. Not this one. The CHOPSTICK holds its line even when you’re cranking the hardest turns, like a board much bigger – probably ‘cause it once was! Plus, you can whip it around or spin tighter, without worrying about smashing a non-existent nose. We threw in some extra volume to keep it versatile across different waves, and finished it off with a swallow tail – just to remind you which direction to go. Though we wouldn't be surprised if someone flips the script and shreds the other way!

 

The CHOPSTICK is your go-to for fun, no-pressure sessions. But don’t get it twisted – if anyone asks whether this little shred stick can rip (and they will), you'll have no problem proving them wrong. If your usual shortboard is a 5’6 or 5’7 Ocean Style, go for 5’4 – chopping off 2-3 inches is the magic number.
